Mexico’s entrepreneurial spirit is at the core of the nation’s culture. The country is full of ambition, with a population that wants to see their companies advance to the next level in the business world, especially in the technology ecosystem.
One of those entrepreneurs is Pablo Hernández, President of Technology & Development and Founder at Ingenia, a full-service digital agency that operates out of Polanco in Mexico City. Hernández actually started building websites at age 14, choosing to take the entrepreneurial path very early on.
The agency serves a long list of impressive clients, such as Grupo Bimbo and Lego, assisting them in their approach to digital marketing and connecting them with the right technologies that are necessary for them to achieve their goals.
The company’s core technology focus is on web design and mobile app development, backed up by its multi-talented team of 150 staff and its CMMI Level 4 certification.
Ingenia has been developing web applications, portals, e-commerce solutions, and intranets for 15 years, and even boasts a portfolio of services for animation, consulting, online marketing, and hosting.
“The business of building a strong brand has changed,” said Hernández. “You need a digital strategy, which requires forward-thinking and fully capable partners, which is why we have positioned ourselves to develop almost any digital solution you can think of.”
Thanks to a strategic alliance with some of the best data centers in the world — namely RackSpace and Xiolink — they’ve also also been able to provide a pretty robust hosting solution, rounding off their “whole package” approach to digital services.
While much of its business has been based in Mexico, Ingenia and its 150-strong team are now targeting the US market, with new ambitions to become a well-known nearshore player.
