Information technology and software services provider Softtek has been ranked among the 10 most-loved companies by their employees in Mexico.
In the index prepared by the job counseling portal, Love Mondays, the software services company was ranked 5th, according to Mexican news magazine Lider Empresarial.
A subsidiary of job portal Glassdoor, Love Mondays takes into account several factors before classifying companies in the list, such as remuneration, benefits, career opportunities, quality of life, and culture.
Considering its analysis, employees at Softtek receive between 20,000 and 48,000 pesos per month, depending on the roles and responsibilities they handle in the company.
In addition, Softtek was given a rating of 3.84 points on a scale of 1 to 5 on the basis of evaluations, comments, and opinions expressed by job-seekers and employees on Love Mondays’ web page.
Most of the other companies in the index are American, including AT&T, IBM, Ford, and General Electric. The IT company was also ranked fourth among the employers who received the highest number of evaluations.
Although these are anonymous opinions, anyone who publishes an evaluation or salary on Love Mondays’ web portal requires an account through their social media accounts or a verified email.
Headquartered in Monterrey, Softtek was the largest private IT vendor in Latin America as of 2010.
With more than 12,000 employees in Mexico and abroad, the company offers application software development, IT infrastructure management, security, and support to more than 400 corporations in more than 20 countries.
