Mexico’s growth as a valuable nearshore location in the IT space is showing no signs of stopping. Besides the huge, long-established giants like Softtek, there is a new breed of innovative entrepreneurs who are adding distinct value to the country’s technology ecosystem.

Many of these ideas men and women are leveraging the experience they gained in other locations — like the United States or Europe — to then return home where they can build new startups, attack the market, and be close to their families.

We recently caught up with Guillermo Ortega, Co-founder and COO or iTexico, and David Sandoval, the company’s Creative Delivery Manager, to find out why Mexican entrepreneurs prefer to remain firmly on home turf, and the passion that drives them to see their ideas become reality.
